The Joint Administrators and their agents Hilco Capital continue to trade the stores of Countrywide Farmers PLC following our appointment on 7th March 2018. Store performance is reviewed weekly but given the strong trading performance to date the majority of stores will be trading into May which has created an opportunity to seek further going concern sales where available.

Interest in the stores has been strong and we continue to receive interest and offers for a number of stores on a going concern basis. The aim is to conclude these transactions as soon as possible. To date 8 stores have been sold to Wynnstay (Agricultural Supplies) Limited on 30 April 2018 and details of those stores are included on

There are 11 leasehold stores where progressing going concern offers is proving challenging (either because no acceptable offer has been received, the structure of certain offers or from a deliverability perspective). In-order for all stores to have every opportunity to be sold as a going concern we would like to invite going concern offers on the following stores;

Standard Delivery is £3.95 - Orders placed before 2pm will be delivered within 2-3 working days*.

We can deliver to any address in the UK, including Northern Ireland. Please note that deliveries to Northern Ireland, Isles of Scilly and some Scottish postcodes may take longer. We currently do not deliver internationally.

Certain products have specific charges for delivery and/or may have extended delivery times. If this is the case, the charge will be shown on the product page.

Where an order total is over £300 the order will be delivered free of charge unless the items in the basket are classed as oversize. For any queries on oversize product delivery charges please contact us.


You can collect your order free of charge from any of our Countrywide stores within 2-3 days. Simply select your nearest store at checkout.

The store will notify you by telephone when your order is ready to collect. Please wait for the store to contact you by telephone, even if you have received your despatch confirmation.


Please note that you can only return items purchased online. In store purchases may not be exchanged or returned.

If you return an item(s) to us bought online, you are entitled to a full refund providing:

  • You provide proof of purchase for the item(s) being returned.
  • The goods are returned to us within 14 days of being delivered to you.
  • The goods are returned in a saleable condition, with their original packaging, unless they are faulty.


Returning to your local Countrywide Store:

Please take the item(s), along with your original till receipt or delivery note to your local Countrywide store, who will process your refund/exchange at the till.


Post your item(s) back to us:

    Visit to enter your details and generate a Free Returns Label.

    *If your item is more than 20kg and larger than 61cm (L) x 46cm (W) x 46cm (D), please contact our Customer Services Team who will be happy to help.

  2. Pack Parcel & Return to Us

    Stick your pre-paid Returns Label to the outer parcel. Drop off your parcel at your local Post Office branch and ask for proof of postage if required.

Unfortunately we do not offer an exchange service by post, please follow the normal returns process and place a new order for the alternative product.

We will normally process postal returns within 10 working days of items being received at our warehouse, and confirm your refund by e-mail.

Please be aware that some items cannot be returned (unless faulty) if they are perishable, or for health and safety or hygiene reasons.

This includes food stuffs, animal feeds, animal health, riding hats and body protectors. Please call our Customer Services team for a full list. We will refund the cost of standard delivery if an entire order is returned. This does not affect your statutory rights.


In accordance with the WEEE (Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment) regulations, Countrywide are full members of the DTS (Distributor Take Back Scheme) and now offer facilities for customers to return household WEEE for recycling.
